China Walls in Hawaii Kai is a 30-minute drive from Waikiki. The ocean waves crashing into the rocks causes the waves to splash really high into the air. This is fantastic for dramatic photos. A case of timing taking photos with the ‘set’s which you can see coming into the shore. It’s fun because you never know how high it’ll splash up.  Conveniently, this dramatic location has areas of flat rock to stand on that overlook the ocean. As you exchange your vows, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of Hawaii. On top of that, you also get sunsets over the ocean from this area.  It’s a popular area for surfers, which, along with the waves,  adds to the sense of fun here.

Sandy beach is a very scenic 30-minute drive from Waikiki. It’s famous for body surfing. It’s also a great location for sunrise and mid-morning ceremonies. To avoid the sunlight being directly overhead, we reccommend  you avoid having your ceremony between 10:am and 2:00pm. Having your ceremony  between 2:00pm and 4:00 pm is also a good time. This is because you get vibrant ocean color and flatterring lighting too. The ocean’s vibrant colors create a breathtaking backdrop for your ceremony. There’s ample parking, restrooms, and beach showers which are handy for washing off sand. Your experience will be both enjoyable and memorable. With the spirit of aloha at Sandy Beach, every moment of your vows will be truly magical.
