QUICK GUIDE

- Begin your planning by researching the perfect location for your ceremony that resonates with your vision.

– We highly recommend collaborating with wedding professionals based on Oahu. This way  you can avoid additional costs for flights and car rentals, while making your wedding planning smoother and more enjoyable. With everyone already on this island, you can focus on what truly matters, celebrating your love and commitment for each other.

– Take the time to check out the QUALITY of services offered by various vendors. Also look at their prices/ packages to tailor one that perfectly aligns with your dreams and desires.

– Select a dedicated wedding officiant with whom you feel very comfortable with as it’ll be the three of you creating the beautiful experience of your intimate ceremony.

– Decide whether to hire individual vendors, or to choose a team of professionals who are accustomed to working together seamlessly.

– If you plan to wear high heels, consider bringing a second pair of shoes for your comfort and safety as you navigate your special day.

– For intimate beach wedding ceremonies on Oahu, we suggest scheduling your ceremony on a weekday. You’ll find there are less people on the beaches, allowing for a more intimate experience.

– Familiarize yourself with the process of obtaining your marriage license in Hawaii to ensure a smooth experience.

– Prior to your elopement ceremony, take care not to get sunburned just before your elopement, as this can happen quite quickly especially in the mid day sun.

- Most beach car parks here have signs posted saying, ‘do not leave valuables in car’. For your piece of mind, I can put your small items inside my camera bag rucksack for safekeeping which is always right by me. Items such as cell phones wallets, etc.

– It’s worth bringing some hairclips with you, just in case it’s windy during your ceremony and gusty wind is blowing your hair is blowing into your face.

– To be comfortable throughout, you may want to consider bringing  a few small parasol umbrellas for shade. You can find ‘wedding umbrellas online, and these are also handy for any family/guests you may have witnessing your ceremony.
